I just don't understand the hunting idle.
If it is in fact that it is just something that goes along with the cams then why do some people NOT have the issue with the cams?

I'm going to clean the TB and after that I lift my arms up as far as guessing what else it could be. And yes the increases were from the tune alone. The mods were already on the car. I was very satisfied with the gains to say the least.

Dude, I have had the hunting idle issue from day one with my cams on two different 2007 Foose Stangs. The first car had them installed with about 1200 miles on the car and had the hunting idle shortly afterwards and then on my current 2007 Foose, I had them installed before I took delivery and with the addition of a SC at the same time. Still hunting idle. I really just think it is part of the package with the cams. You will learn to drive with it over time... yes, it is a hassle but would not want to loose the cams to fix it either. Good luck!

BTW, my first 2007 NA with FRPP Hot Rod Cams, BBK CAI, and BBK Tuned Shorty Headers put down 308 RWHP, is that close to what you saw with the new tune? Attaching my Dyno sheet for you from back when I had it done with the NA car.

Here you go...

Note that this was prior to installing the GT 500 Fuel Pumps and a lot of other goodies but still has the stock bottom end so I am not really looking to go up. We stopped at 425 RWHP with about 98% on fuel before the new pumps. I have not tried to Dyno again. I have tried a number of other tunes from different vendors.

Thx.
Since it said important I had to look past ignore.

A dyno can't be done with the tcs on. The front wheels aren't moving so tcs will see a traction problem and kick in, then the car bucks on the dyno.

Rest assured your dyno wasn't done with the tcs on.

With CAI, Cams, long tubes, x pipe (catted), and 4.10's
I put down about 319rwhp and almost 318trq with the tune.
