Default any experience with this?

I am on a budget and considering some options with my exhaust. Current set-up is just Flowmaster American Thunder axle backs. I have onhand (but not installed yet) a Pypes O/R X pipe.

I have been reading a ton of threads and listening to all the videos and think have concluded that if I install the O/R X pipe, I would be best off by putting the stock mufflers back on to lower the tone and prevent some of the raspy noise.

However, I found this (attached link) and thought this with the Flowmasters might sounds pretty good but have not read any posts or seen any videos with Pacesetter systems. Does any one have any experience with their products? Any thoughts on the setup with the Pacesetter O/R H and the Flowmaster A/T's?

I have the stock mufflers with an off road mid pipe. It's the best sounding setup I've heard on a 4.6 3V.

Do you have and "X" or an "H" pipe? I prefer a deeper, throatier growl.

I have an X, and honestly I'd have preferred the H, but I had to use what my tuner had on hand because my cats were damaged and I needed the car for an event that day. I'm actually surprised and pleased that there is no raspiness with this setup.

i run the upr mid pipe with bassani straight through american muscle has some great exhaust clips to show you what the muffler sounds like. but my tuner told me an O/R mid is all the same just about so you dont have to go spending 400 on a bassani mid. i have a lil raspy sound but i like that its a lot louder but ive got used to it.

I tried Vforce and liked them for a little bit, but im used to the old school. So I just got my mullfers cut off. My county has no emmisions though. I love it much more. It doesnt do much for hp or tq. not really pertaining to article, but just what I did. It still has a light rumble al low rpms, but when I push the throttle it roars. plus the 2010s are really quiet on the inside.
