2011 Mustang GT Premium buying options
#11
I was talking to a car dealer the other day, I asked him to give it to me straight about end of the month, beginning of the month etc. as to when the best time to buy a car is. He told me in no uncertain terms that the time doesn't make a difference, What does make a difference is availability. If you are looking for a Taurus and there are 30 on the lot you are going to get a much better deal than if you are looking for a Mustang and they only have 3 on the lot. If they have to order it or truck it in from another dealer (like I did) then you won't get much of a discount at all.

My situation was different, but I ended with a 12 -brembo- hid- security- comfort-6 speed- heated seats and a few others. 38,895 msrp bottom line on actual selling price was 32,865. However, it did have 3K miles. ]
My first car; 11 used, blew up. (2011 with 5K miles paid 28,900 and trade allowance of 17,500.) It was premium with 3.73s.
They bought the deal back and raised my trade allowance on my 07 GT with 42K miles to 18,400 when buying the 12 model.
Doubt I will ever run into anything like this again, but in the end it was a great deal.
I signed up with MCA and got the doc fee reduced to 100 from 499.
