What should I do with my Shaker?
#12
I have used Back To Black and it does seem to do a good job... temporarily. I really just want to give my Shaker a while new finish. I'm really leaning towards having it powder coated. Just have to figure out what color would best go with my scheme. What color is a "stock" Shaker?
Oh wicked... I've heard about that guy around the Registry. He looks very reasonable. Do you have any close-up pictures of your Shaker or something close enough to where I can see what the finish really looks like?
Look up demonspeed98 on the registry- he runs www.motorcityrefinishing.com and has powdercoated both my valve covers (torch red) and now my shaker (gloss black) and does some nice work for a very good price. If your on the mach1registry he'll even give you a discount.
Don't paint the shaker, powdercoat it- it is much more durable than paint and will last longer. Hope that helps!
