Hey guys, not sure if this is the correct sub forum to post my question in, if not please let me know so i can move it.

So here is my dilemma, i have a 1983 Fox body that had a 3.8 in it that was toast at 106,100km so the engine is pulled. I have a complete 5.0 1989 Grand Marquis EFI (Entire Car) that only has 56,000km on it but was in a roll over sitting in my back yard that i would like to swap in, my main question is what to do with the gauge cluster harness and how to make all the gauges work with the marquis computer and wiring harness. If somebody could enlighten me on how to make it all work that would be awesome, and please don't reply telling me that its not a worth while swap because of it being a low level non HO 5.0 haha, Thanks, Josh

dont bother. the panther cars use the lopo 5.0, which has a different intake, heads, cam/firing order, no valve reliefs in the pistons, and asic cast internals.

So I would be better off just selling the marquis for as much as I can and getting a HO 5.0? If that was the case would it better a better route to go fuel injected or stick to a carbed motor?

I did a swap on my 84' and put a 5.0 HO in place of the 3.8...I used carb, going injected, you will need wiring harness and computer.
