2000 gt swap
Bought a crate motor and tranny for 1500 complete down to intake ,injectors , throttle body, even the serpentene belt is installed! My questions are as follows.
1. The throttle body is facing wrong way can i just turn 180*?
2. Alternator is different . Since its already on crate motor will it work? Looks flatter and taller possibly crown vic i think.
3. If motor is for crown vic will hp be the same? Cams?
4. If it has coil on plugs is it a pi motor?
I tried to upload pics of new motor but cant for some reason. Ill keep trying though. Any help is appreciated.

1.Wont let me view the picture but you can 180 the throttle body/plenum
2.if it has the same connections i would just use the one already on there
3.from what i understand motors are the same, its the tune/ecu thats different(dont quote me tho)
4.If it has COP's then most likely it is a pi motor. 99-04 got the pi heads, which they also changed fuel style(return/returnless)
I just did a 04 grand marquis swap in my 96 gt.
you will need to double check you flywheel and that since they came with a 6 or 8 bolt and will depend on what you need.
Let me know if you can get the picture working/embedded and i can try and help further. Any questions feel free to ask
