Hey guys I am about to buy a 2000 mustang gt and I was wondering if a 351 Windsor in it with what kind of engine mounts and what 6 speed manual transmission goes behind that and would it be easier to make the 351 fuel injected or keep it carburated
351 will fit no problem. Carb will be ALOT cheaper than fuel injection and I'd go with a tremec. The torque from a 351 would probably give a stock T5 fits.
Thank you guys. If I keep it carburated how do I get the gauges to work or do I buy different ones and what about all of the sensors what do I do about them

I'm doing a carb swap this spring when I go to the dart motor. From everything I've read you can keep your gauges and use the portion of the engine harness that operates the gauges lights etc. As far as the sensors go your going to have to do a little research. But you'll need an old school ignition system. The pcm will be useless once a carb is installed. Google is your friend.
