Hello, I am a Law Enforcement Officer in the State Of Pennsylvania. Recently I found a Ford Mustang ll that I tagged for a sheriff's sale. This car was in the back of a barn and the Vin was very hard to read. Can someone help me out with more info on this car. The color is blue, it had a auto transmission, and "V8" on the front fender along the bottom of the side panels it had "Cobra Mustang II" The Vin as near as I can tell is F6F03F215408F. The owner of the car claims it is a 1971 or 1972..not sure when they started making the Mustang II. Thanks in advance for any help.
In fair condition is it worth anything? I have it tagged at $300.00.

How much rust? Any cancer rot on the panels? Is all of the glass intact? Rips in the seats? Carpet good? If anything, someone could part it out on Ebay and probably make a fair amount of money on the parts alone. Without seeing any pictures it would be hard to say.
If there isn't a lot of rust or major interior flaws someone will pick that thing up for $300 without blinking an eye and laugh all the way home - IF they were looking for Cobra II. Is it going to auction?
FYI the Mustang II's ran from 1974 to 1978.
