yikes! man, I sank SO much cash into that car...

when I first got it, it was getting 6mpg (thank goodness 87 was only 60 cents back then!) - after I had put a cam in the motor, new holley carb and a ton of other tweaks - I could pull down 18mpg and hang with some of the foxbody cars
