this 07 shelby cobra gt500 thing is supposed to have 550 hp around if im correct, now this might be a dumb question or not but do you think saleen will fiddle with one of those?

the ford GT has 550hp... the shelby gt500 as i just read in car and driver they rated it at 475hp at like 500 lbs of torque

the gt500 I believe was rated around 475hp like MrFedEx503 said. Saleen has another model coming out, I think it was the Saleen Mustang 'Extreme' which was rated around 500hp or alittle more.

but unless im reading that wrong but thank you for correcting me on the hp, does anyone think saleen will fix up the gt500? unless thats what the saleen extreme is you were talking about.

I think it is possible that Saleen might do a special order gt500, but I think it will be everything but the motor. -Body, suspension, interior, and they probably won't touch the motor except for exhaust. That's the way Saleen did special order Saleen cobras, they didn't touch the motor. Their E car will be the fastest mustang ever produced.
