new NASCAR cars: Impala, Mustang, Challenger

It's still making them publicity and money.... though for 2011 or 2012 im afraid that Dodge will be gone. There's only the #2, 12, 77 left for 10'. I aint a mopar guy but it's kinda sad for the sport to all but lose 1 of the big 3. I want those wind up pieces of **** Camry's oughta the sport though. As for Ford they get a boost with RPM & Yates teaming up for next season. In return I'm assuming it will boost Roush as well. Because 2 races in to the chase and #16 & #99 are off the pace.

Just like to bump the race thread here, so far this year there's been alot of action. NO MORE WINGS!!! YES, we're back to the spoiler im happy to say, NASCAR has given back a bit of control to the drivers. As well as to see where Kasey Kahn ends up for 2011??

Thats europes Fusion and it looks slower than a Windstar minivan.
Im honestly sick of Nascar, it needs to be revamped. No more carbed pushrod motors and no more shell of a car. It needs to go back to the way it was in the 60's and actually be something you could buy in showrooms. Now that could mean one of two things, either nascar would become really gay or car companies would make really badass versions of their car that we would all love to own.
But thats just my .02

It's not so much the cars that your having issue with as it is the rules. The rule manual in the 60's was a 3 folded pamplet now it's over a 600 page book. I mean by what you've said its taken nascar years to destroy itself and it will take years for nascar to get back to something. The first step in the right direction was dropping the wing here a few weeks ago. Nascar should really through the rule book out the door. Just have safety rules and then after that its free for all. Pretty soon w/ how nascar is going Hendrick motorsports will be nascar.
