Ford had both a 428 and 429 CJ and SCJ. Not sure the 429 CJ's made it in the Mustangs, if they did it was after 1970. The Boss 429 was very limited, but Jon Kaase makes a new improved head that bolts to the 429/460 block and it puts down some serious power. I thing he bolted one in like a 2006 mustang that had nearly 900hp.
