I'd say that this is a kick in the fuzzy gumdrops but he had a helluva run and lived a life worth living. As a long time Mustang devotee I will forever be grateful for his contributions to the world of motorsports.

Take your rest, Mr. Shelby. You've earned it.

Very much saddened to hear this. Mr Shelby was truly one of a kind, and I honestly don't expect the automotive world to see his like again...

Wow, this was the last thing I expected to hear when I got up this morning. I'm sad but at the same time I want to go lay down some rubber in his honor.

No, because the EPA would sue them off the spectrum.

Pretty much sums it up for me.....Kinda hope I get a ticket doing it too!! Forever mark the event.
I hope a fair number of mustang enthusiasts line the road he is on when they lay him too rest!! Kinda like the ending too Billy Jack, only with mustangs!
