I'd say that this is a kick in the fuzzy gumdrops but he had a helluva run and lived a life worth living. As a long time Mustang devotee I will forever be grateful for his contributions to the world of motorsports.

Wow, this was the last thing I expected to hear when I got up this morning. I'm sad but at the same time I want to go lay down some rubber in his honor.
Thank you sir for giving us cars that have *****, and inspiring the 3 main US car manufacturers to step up their game to your level of expectations.
Nothing to be sad about - long and well lived life as he wanted it to be - in the fast lane!

Pretty much sums it up for me.....Kinda hope I get a ticket doing it too!! Forever mark the event.
I hope a fair number of mustang enthusiasts line the road he is on when they lay him too rest!! Kinda like the ending too Billy Jack, only with mustangs!
