Default How NOT to Do a Mustang Burnout



We see it all the time. The new Mustang owner who's proud and shows off the powerful 5.0 by doing a celebratory burnout. That’s fine and dandy if you do one standing still or have done a few before. If you’re going to do one in motion like Nitto/Monster Energy driver Vaughn Gittin, Jr., you may want to have a few under your belt in a closed environment before you do one on the street.

Gotta know when to feather the throttle and drive with the throttle instead of just flooring it and hanging on for inevitable tank slapper. Sad.
