Mark ups on 2016 Mustang GT's
Looking into getting a new GT by February and I went to a local dealer for a preliminary look. They had five on the lot and every one of them was marked up $2,500. I have not gone to another dealer as of yet but I just wanted to get some opinions from you folks if this is the norm.
I can understand if I'm getting a limited car like a Shelby for example, but it's always been common knowledge that there are enough GT's to go around.

Same here, I ordered the car, 2016 GT Premium convertible loaded, in September and got it in October. I got it for $511.00 over dealer invoice. still don't really know what the eleven bucks was for but I didn't care.
I have never seen a GT marked up, only the KR 500's and the GT, everything else is discounted.

Just keep looking. I plan on ordering a 2016 or 2017. I have an A Plan and see a lot of GTs on lots for between 1 and 2 thousand less than A plan which is what put me on the fence between a '16 and '17. I almost always custom order my cars but don't want to pay so much more than you can get a mid year car off a lot.
Here is an example of a '16 PP GT for over $4k off sticker and they that dealer only charges $150 for fees. http://www.bowenscarff.com/new/Ford/...ac7a58370a.htm
