Default Pandora no longer plays in car using bluetooth sync

My android cell phone plays songs fine when not synced to my car. Once it's paired with my car the music stops.

If I manually go to phone> mobil apps> Pandora> OK, nothing happens. My stereo says Pandora but does nothing else

If I use voice command and say phone> mobil apps nothing happens and she stops listening

I've done a Sync master reset and that didn't help.

Anyone else have this problem?

If a Ford Sync person can chime in and help me with this I'd appreciate it.

Does any of the Sync functions work? Does Sync answer your calls or play text messages?

I am able to use my Sync for making calls. I tested that to see if it was the whole system or just the Pandora part. It's just the Pandora part

My 2012 has a "pause" feature, by pressing down the right volume control. Might try that if you have *****. I can also skip songs by the steering wheel buttons and the radio FF button, do any of these have an effect?

Something I noticed today was I made a video with my cell phone and I sat in my parked car without turning the key on to watch the video. I had no sound on my cell with while watching it.

My cell must have paired with Sync when I got back in the car. I had to get out of the car and walk far enough away for them to stop pairing for me to watch the video and have sound on my cell.

Hi jesse1125,

Are you able to use other mobile apps and are you referring to AppLink or Bluetooth audio?

Also, have you tried soft resetting your device, or re-pairing your phone?

Whitney

If you mean apps on my cell, yes I can use other apps. If you mean apps with Sync, Pandora is the only app I use with Sync.

I'm guessing it's Bluetooth because that's how I pair my cell to Sync.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled Pandora and had to re-pair my cell to Sync after I did a master reset.

If soft resetting my cell means rebooted it yes I have done that.

I don't know all the slang, sorry about that.

Thanks Whitney for any help you can give me.

Should I pull the Sync fuse next? If so where is it?
