Hello! I am new here. I am going to have to replace my Celica with a truck within the next year (owning a home almost requires a truck) and my wife has given me permission to get a project car. I am thinking about a Mustang. I will probably be lurking here for a few months untill I decide on a car, but I want your opinions. What year GT's make good project cars? I will be modding it. I won't be able to afford anything new. Would you rather mod an 87-92 GT or a 94+? I am not looking to break any land speed records, but I would like to have a fairly quick car.

Thanks for any advice.

I agree about the looks on the '86, but the motors suck to mod.
