Well you might know your plans, but we don't. So for us to give you an answer to which brand is better, really isnt possible. Its really just a matter of preferance.
Good info to give would be a current list of mods, what type of use you have planned for the car (dd, rr, ax), what the future plans for mods are (again dd mild street, dd street/strip, strip monster, corner carving street, rr monster...etc).
With no other mods and no info on future plans, there is no, better of the two. I won't really matter what h you put in because the rest of the exhaust is stock. So performance and sound really won't be affected. To get a better sound, a catback system will do the trick. To get performance, you want to go headers back, plus cai.
For instance, I'm rockin bbk shorty headers, bbk x with high flow cats, slp lm1 catback. I finished it off with a cai, so that it can pull in all the air that the exhaust is able to push out. With my new ability to flow more air, i moved to upgraded heads, cam, intake, and larger throttle body. My plan for my car is ax and rr. So with my mild engine and exhaust setup, I'm currently focusing on suspension. THIS is where my money is really being spent and going all out.
The point.....share what your plan for the car is so that we can better help/recommend. Just throwing an h on it, really isnt going to change anything with your sound or performance.

One mod I did to my previous 2001 was white faced LED gauges. Bought them from American Muscle. Obviously didnt make the car go any faster, but its something you look at all the time.

Another mod I did was replaced the stock front brakes with a set of Cobra calipers out of a wrecked 2001 Cobra. Painted them red. The COBRA lettering really popped when cleaned up. Then I added 2001 Cobra wheels. Wheels were $300 and the brakes costs me about $500 out of pocket for the parts and rebuild. I installed myself
