Default So I'm thinking nitrous

I know two guys selling nitrous kits, one is a venom 100 shot kit never used (without window/purge) for $450 and another selling a NX wet kit with window/purge and bottle for $550 and used once. I'm leaning towards the NX kit. I seem to hear most people saying to get a dry shot kit so I'm wondering what the pain is with wet kits and if it's worth it to get the NX kit. Also how much is installation/tune going to be? Thanks

don't get the venom kit. i heard some guys say they're crap, but they had no proof to back it up. the reason I say not to go with it, is because i see you have an 04 GT. i called mustangtuning.com regarding that kit asking if it'll work with my 04GT. i was told the manual only says up to an 03GT. they recommended i not buy it, since they could not guarentee me it would work. same thing with the Holly NOS kit. i called about a kit someone had for sale on here and they said that particular kit in question only worked up to an 02GT.

the only thing on a car that would specify wether you could use a kit or not is how your getting the fuel. I'm using my schraeder valve for mine, and I had to use a custom fitting that cost like 6 dollars for the hoses to hook up right. Nitrous is nitrous.

i'm going by what was said to me on the phone. the guys at mustangtuning said it would probably work, but they don't want to be responsible if it doesn't, because their papers only say 2003. they couldn't guarentee me it would work. the Holly NOS kit was the same thing. they couldn't guarentee me the kit i was looking at would work on an 03 or an 04. surprising that they couldn't since they make the damn thing.

Pick up the NX kit. Window and Purge is very important. Good price too. N20 is great.

i have the nx wet kit and it works fine i was running 100 shot and my best time is 12.82. im now running 125 but have not taken it to the track yet. i have an 03 gt. they told me the same thing. the manual has not been updated yet thats why they say that. but if you call summit or jegs or your local ford performance shop theyll tell you its ok.
