I have been having an issue with my 5.0. Car was running great. Had a fuel leak between the injector and the rail. Fixed problem, put it back together. Now the car falls on its face after 2000 rpm. Put smoke machine on it. No vacum leaks. No CEL. My Q is : I just put new cats on for smog. Being CA I have to run 4. Is it possible that they are clogged? They have less than 1K on them. I just can't see them clogging in that short amount of time.

no way... i would bet better on a burned plug wire, check 'em all, and make sure they're all "snapped" on good. if it doesn't snap... it's not on

Thanks for the info. I used a new tool my brother got off the Matco truck. It is a spark plug checker that you read off of the plug wire. I have spark in all cylinders. Going to let him mess with it this week. Will let you know what we find.
