Non IC Whipple and Wtr/Meth Injection
Is anyone familiar with using a water/meth injection system on a non ic whipple? I was thinking about doing this until I can afford to go upgrade to the HO system. I dont plan on tracking it at all this summer just something to lower the intake temps some when street driving. I was looking at this system. http://www.alcoholinjectionsystems.c...duct_info.html

well the meth only sprays under boost so daily driving it wont do anything unless you stomp on it. the ic will work non stop, in boost or not. also, you will need a dyno tune when adding the kit because if you just start spraying the motor will go really rich.

Thanks, thats what I was wanting to know, I couldnt see how it would cool very fast and I was wondering about the tune. I thought it was activated by whatever amount of boost it was set to come on at tho? I think I have seen them both ways.

you can buy a maf controlled system and all should be ok, but an intercooler setup is always there to cool and I think the price is the same as a good meth system.
I would choose the intercooler first, and the meth after if you go high boost

I think I am going to wait and go with the intercooler it just going to take sometime to get the $$$$. Whipple doesnt sell it separate so you have to buy the complete HO upgrage kit.
