turbo is making wayyy to much boost

turbo is making wayyy to much boost
ok so i just had a 9 psi spring installed today and was driving my car when i got on it i look at my boost guage and im rocking close to 15lbs let off and pulled the car over.....
what would cause this any idea the car runs fine and doesnt make redic boost unless i wot it

ive played with the car earlier and was running 9-10 psi at WOT and thats what it did on the DYNO as well
