That's a pretty good deal but to answer yoir question yes and no, if you can get mil eliminators to work more power to ya, i never could so i would go with a tuner, not diablo though cuz the update took the option of getting rid of the cel light isn't an option but you can download one from the website for $75.

I just bought and installed the same kit, but for a 95 V8. The sound is great, cant complain at all about that. The finish seems to be high quality too. However, the fitment of the kit sucks. The driver's side pipe was too long and had to be cut. The connections to both stock manifolds and both pipes exiting the X pipe had to be worked over to get them to fit properly. Then had to take it to a shop to have the hangers cut and rewelded so they would line up correctly with the hanger mounting points on the car. Once the kit was up and in place, the tips were slanting inwards so took more massaging to make them straight.

Overall, I love the kit, but be prepared to spend some time working with it to make it fit correctly. That seems to be a common issue with the kit judging by the reviews on American Muscle, but when your spending $600ish for a a full kit, you should be expecting that to some degree.
