If we can get Sam to chime in here, he'd probably agree on the 710's with me. Especially if your car isn't running a lot of camber, the 710s are a LOT better than the A6's.
Plus, they are more forgiving to noobs.
Hoosiers are like a .45, V710's are like a 9mm.... Hoosiers are more costly, are "bigger and badder". They are more developed for ultimate speed, they don't tolerate as much slip angle abuse as V710's, and are a softer compound. They are faster, like anything that's 'more advanced' that does not come for free.
I absolutely think that V710s are a good first R-comp tire for all the reasons listed above. But because they are very tolerant of high slip angles you must not be sucked into thinking that is what you should be doing all the time. If you try to drive Hoosiers like that, you'll shred them quickly.
