Heh! That wasn't even one of my famous one-liners!
But it's true though. The stock suspension is just junk. Junk I tell ya. I've had the good stuff on my '06 for years...Then I recently bought an '11 GT which was all stock. Not surprisingly, the first time I nailed the throttle in first gear, the rear end wheel hopped and I was like aw crap! I forgot how badly that sucked!!! So yeah, I upgraded the suspension on my '11 GT the first week I bought it. Life's too short to drive around on stock suspension!
