I know times are hard and gas is climbing... so what are the Shelby GT's going for at the dealerships these days? Is it possible to get one for under 30K?

Umm, probably not under 30, but I just passed on a SGT convertible at 40,499. Check ebay, Town & Country Ford in Nashville has a coupe and convertible in stock along with a bunch of Rousch, if that's what you're looking for. According to T&C none of the current rebates apply to the SGT cars......good hunting!

Bought my 07 for 29.5. It's loaded, and only had 104 miles on it.

Thanks. I was looking for a gt5oo or a SGT. Most of the SGT's I liked were used at 29(ish) but I'd have to ship or fly-drive. The local dealer was asking 36 -originally 50 with their sucker mark-up. Within a month they dropped it to 32, then to 30. By the time I left, they gave up another $500.

I've never been a big fan of domestic cars, but I really, really like this car!
