I have to agree with that. Look at this photo. I would swear the car is sagging down on the passenger side, where the bracket broke.

Here's a photo of the sheared off allen head bolt:

Here's a FR500C rear set up...
In case you don't know, it's Ford factory racing car and it does endurance racing.

So, look at this picture and tell if your coments still holds water...

The FR500C uses a large adjustable front bar and with 3-way tunable damping and height adjustable coilovers on all 4 corners to dial in the suspension. Most street cars are not so equipped.

Meanwhile the FR500S (which is still heavily race prepped) but somewhat closer to a production Mustang setup DOES use a rear anti-roll bar.

If you want to run without one, that's your option. But to claim that a rear bar is pointless on on a production chassis is simply incorrect imho

I'm familiar with the 500C but I won't argue with you...
Your points are valid none the less.

I still think it's pretty much useless at the rear, unless you have Cadillac shocks or something.
A sway bar pushes the one side down when the other side is being squished under load.
A solid axle does that on its own, since both sides are connected...

Hey, all I know is that I can feel a difference in handling now that the part has broken off.

And I am still waiting to hear from the dealership to see if they got the parts in! It's been a week...
maybe I should have just left my car there, getting dirty and not repaired so I could rack up more days towards the Lemon Law (need 30 days in CA) and drove their rental POS instead.

I know 6s come with out a rear bar and once i put on a gt take offs it was like night and day difference in handling. car just stays much flatter in the turns.
