The reviews of the 2010's have been strong - KR motor, much nicer interior, better handling. The exterior looks are a close call in my opinion. I would think that you can get a better deal now on the 2007-2009's now.
Clearly by every measurable comparison, the 2010 GT500 is a better car.
The only reason to get a 07-09 GT500, is price, or the looks.
For me I would take either, but really love the 2010, from every angle.

Damn that Infinity is UGLY. How can anyone like that hideous thing is beyond me. I don't care what kind of performance it has, you wouldn't catch me in that awful looking thing.

Is it just me or some owners still prefer the 09 over the 2010? why?
I am still thinking of either getting a 09 or 2010. Please help =)
Thanks !!!
Sorry for such a lame question.
I was in your shoes a few months back. I chose the '09 because to me it had a "classic" look both inside and out. The '10 is a nice looking car in it's own right, but it's a bit over the top and looks too Euro for my taste. Plus, if I bought one, I'd park it backwards everywhere I went to keep from having to look at it from behind. I simply would never get used to how it looked from that angle. Bottom line for me was that all the performance gains (and more) of the '10 could be had on the 9 through aftermarket or FRPP for less than a stock '10, but the looks of the '09 (and price) could not be duplicated. Seriously, looks are subjective - to each his own so to speak. One can't go wrong either way.
I'm always hesitant to buy the first year of a re-model. I know the 2010 isn't entirely different but there are always a few shortcomings with the introduction of a completely new model. That's a small thing to worry about, especially since the car has warranty, but it could be a headache and keep you from dirving the new car!
I agree on the first year model thing (I'm famous for doing that i.e. Dodge Daytona, Nissan Titan, Ford EXP ugh), but in the case of the GT500, I have to disagree. The '10 is basically a refined and improved 07-09, not a "new" model. They took all the shortcomings of the previous years (clutch, flywheel, shifter etc.) and fixed them. Yes, the styling is a matter of taste. Alot of things come to mind when looking at the '10, but NOT a G37.
