And as for coilovers being better, well that's a common fact. I shouldn't have to explain that. Like I said though, if the goal is just appearance then Eibach is ok, but if you're going to be serious about tracking the car or want a really serious improvement, there's plenty better. And really, just doing springs is probably going to make the handling worse than stock as the rates from spring to strut are going to be off.. It's highly recommended to do both if you want to improve handling.
I totally understand where u are coming from. I just ask because i just dont like the big tire/fender gap on the car. Im fairly new to the Mustang game. I had an 08 Gt that i did some work on & was fortunate enough to get a smokin deal on my 11 Gt500. I dont want to ruin anything by changing just the springs, the car only gets driven about 4-5 mths a year due to the weather. I appreciate all the help. Im gona try the Eibach Pros. Im looking into a set of coilovers for the car but just dont have the 1500.00 to drop rite now. i figure i can run the Pro springs till i get the whole coilover set then sell the springs & get some of my money back!? Thanks again for the help!!

Thanks for the advice!! Going with the Pros till i can come up with the cash for the full set of coilovers! Just out of curiosity, how do you get the pics of your car on your posts? Kinda new to the site & not sure how to do it. Thanks

In the left hand corner there is a "User CP"....click that and you'll see an one for "Edit Signature". If you have pictures stored on something like photobucket.com, this is where you insert them...just make sure it's the correct size, or it'll be deleted by a moderator. Once you do this, every time you post to a thread your signature, including picture, will be shown.

Looking at getting some lowering springs myself. Will i have to change out the struts or can i run lowering springs on my stock struts? Also what's the benefit of changing out the struts if i get lowering springs?

Sportlines look better, but they throw off the suspension geometry quite a bit. I'm running the UPR/Eibach Pro Kit springs, and I'm very happy with them.

I went with the sportlines because I like the look and because I found a brand new set of Craigslist for $100...but when I buy my next car I'll be spending my money on a nice ridetech air setup that I can adjust as I see fit. If your really worried about performance and you are willing to spend some money, get some nice adjustable coil-overs

You do not have to, but the benefit will be an improved ride and handling with the new lowered springs.
