Default Barton Short Throw Shifter vs Stock

How does the Barton compare to the Stock shifter on the 2009 Cobras?
I had a barton on my challenger and the difference is HUGE. The throw is reduced by about half. I know that on the mustang it's only about a 35% reduction.
The barton I had on the challenger had some serious springs on it and to be honest it's probably my favorite thing that I did to the challenger.
This shifter feels really sturdy and well built already.
Has anyone here installed a barton on their cobra? What are your thoughts about it?
Is it worth the $400? Considering shift reduction. How much stronger are the springs that center the shifter?

Thank you,

Manuel
