Default Quick Saleen SC question

I put this in my other post, but figured it should be in its own.

I was in the rain driving (just got the car today), so I know traction control kicked in, but I want to know what to expect with the stock SC. When you floor it, should the guage shoot right up to 4 immediately, or does it go to like 2 then gradually climb up to 4? I am only asking cause the last one I drove shot right to 4 like a missle. This one was in the rain, but it looked lke it got to 2 quick, then slowly was creeping up. Again, not a fair test as TC was on, and I know it started to spin almost immediately. Just curious at this point. Thanks!!!

Default RE: Quick Saleen SC question

At the lower boost levels, often the gauges only indicate 4lbs the n creep above that. When I was on the stock 435 tune, My gauge would come to life around 4200-4500 rpm and go right to 4, then slowly go to 4 3/4 or so as you entered 5700rpm or so. My gauges have always reflected the correct boost levels on my various upgrades. Now that I have the 15 psi gauge, the E- car tune I'm on passes 4psi and goes to 9psi rapidly, then presses to 12psi by 3800 rpm or so, and keeps going to about 14psi in cooler weather. That is exactly what my Dyno sheet confirmed, so I know these gauges are accurate. Erik
