Ok...here are some pictures of the kit I received for the series II saleen supercharger. Kinda hard to get the scale of this thing....but the intake plenum is massive (and so is the air filter). FYI: I already have the 90mm MAF (not pictured)

I saw the advert for the Tork Tech intake and an article in 5.0 and was curious about it as well as I have 2001 SC myself. I wanted to run the larger 140ax on that intake as it was technically a Saleen option, but I was concerned about two things.

First: I don't know that I can run a large enough pully to slow the blower down to use on the stock shortblock, or if such a large pully would interfere with my extreme hood (added later).

Second: The thermostat seems to float there in front of the engine, only supported by the radiator hose as there is no thermostat housing on the intake.

Looking forward to seeing your kit installed and I would like to know your thoughts on the thermostat bit. Any of the rest of you have any helpful info on the pullies/boost and hood clearance would be much appreciated.

Hi all just posting comment on tork teck saleen upgrade for the series 2 supercharger. I also want this upgrade for my charger , but kind of priced to high. I would like to have gotin this before the nitrous install, i am at the end of the envolope for the bottom end, maybe when i build me a motor i will add this to my charger, and go from a 35 shot to a 125 shot, this will be a good combo then, i'am hitting 11 lbs of boost on the saleen now , and 15 lbs of boost on the 35 shot nitrous, that i have to run racing fuel cause of the cylinder pressure, i dont have room for this upgrade know but maybe in the future.

hi all just read the post yesterday, didn't know tork tech had this for saleen series 2. I talk to bill yesterday at tork teck, and the up grade is high a dollar item. THIS IS GOOD FOR THE 4.6 guys. I would like to have this on my car, it looks great. I will have to wait until i build me a steel rotation block before i jump on this , maybe the price will go down soon.
