Went to Gainesville dragstrip lastnight, was extremely happy with the times I got, with such minimal mods.

Details on the car, it's a 2013 Mazdaspeed3 with 2800 miles on the odo. Stock intake, stock exhaust. Mods are, upgraded fuel pump internals, weight reduction(rear seat, spare tire and jack) upgraded rmm, rx7 fd wheels, 225/50r-16 rear, 245/50-16 nitto 555r drag radials front, and tuned on 1 gallon meth intank with 93oct.

First pass was a 13.431@105.09, three passes total, best being the 13.204@105.47

tbh, neither did I, lol. Car is running strong, hoping for 12's late November with slicks and e85.

I was only able to get 3 passes, if I could have got 5-6 I feel I could have figured the launch out, definitely had room for improvement with a 2.0sec 60ft.

Nice runs! I wonder what gains you would see from opening up the exhaust and intake a bit. I'm thinking the trap speeds would see more gain than anything.

Trap would definitely go up, I don't see why I wouldn't drop the et as well. I could raise boost to 20-21psi by opening things up, just a short ram and deleting the second cat would make for some decent gains, I don't see why I wouldn't trap another 2-3, maybe 4mph, since our stock intake is so restrictive.

I am keeping the current setup for a few more months, i'm going back late November with a more aggressive tune and hopefully slicks, I want a 12.9et.

Awesome times, knew the low 13s were in it. No doubt your next time out you'll dip into the 12s, I hope my Speed3 does work lol. I can't have a slow DD hah!

Nice runs. At the local track, there was also a quick MS3 running 13.0-13.4's all last year, not sure of the mods though. They're quick!
