Random Accessory Mode
Hey I have 2015 Mustang GT that randomly puts itself in Accessory Mode. I get the Run Power Active message and I loose the ability to accelerate. This has happened 3 different times to be but the dealership has been unable to replicate the issue.
Has anyone ever seen this before?
Thx!

I had the same issue last week and posted about it. However, I didn't get much of a response. Looks like it happens with the fusions as well.
When you brought the car in did they plug it in to the computer? Did it not show anything?
Did you happen to notice how much fuel you had in the tank and did it start back up right away?

Brando,
There is actually no computer code to too look at since its technically not an error. However the service department was finally able to get the issue to replicate with diagnostic equipment attached. It ended up being an airflow/pressure issue. The big air intake tube has a valve on the bottom of it that had broken off. So the car was sucking in air and the engine was shutting off, so it was in accessory mode.
