Default CST X3000 98 GT

I picked up a tuner for my 98 GT. Are there any tricks or rules of thumb that I need to know before marring this to my car?

I installed a CAI and now my car is surging? Do I need to tune it in?? Or do I have a dirty MAF? No CEL????

I will be doing headers and a h-pipe with rear o2 deletes. (Thank you tuner)

Just thought I would ask before I start tuning.

Thanks
