ok i got a 8.8 from a 99 gt and come to find out that guy messed up and bent the passager side axle shaft. what spline is it 28 or 31 and were can i find a new one?

it's a 28 spline and if he bent the axle make sure the axle tube isn't bent also or it will eat axle bearings and seals like mad and give bad wear on the tires and poor handling.


www.summitracing.com has them. Alloy USA brand are very good and 35% stronger than stock while being inexpensive. part# ALY-12186. that's for a set of 2 @ $219. i reccomend changing both

or just take the axle out of your old 7.5 and put it in. they are exactly the same

If it's stock it's 28 spline, go ahead and take out the shaft and count the splines to make sure.
