Radio removal - 1994
Howdy folks.
This is my sons car. Spent a long time finding this and it's a sweet ride, but the stock radio died 1 day after he got the car.
It's not any of the fuses. Wondering if there is an inline fuse straight from the radio that might be blown or if it's just done. Like I said, it worked the first day, and he was using the cassette thing for his Ipod. Worked one day, not the next.
The radio shows "Ford Automatic CrO2 DNR" on the cassette door.
I have heard about a removal tool, and I do see 4 holes at each corner of the radio faceplate. Is that what I need to remove this thing?
Thanks
B

im pretty sure theres a fuse either on the back side of the radio or inside the radio its self. Those 4 holes will need to be pressed and the radio wiggled out to get it all the way out. If the fuse isnt blown in the radio then the radio is shot. But on the plus side christmas is coming! lol. aftermarket radios are easy to install if you get all the right things. a wire harness adapter(instead of cutting the old wires) and install kit for your car.
