Default 2004 mustang motor noise

I have a 2004 Mustang V-6 that just started to have a motor noise over the radio speakers can anyone help me out? Is it the fuel pump or something with the coil? It doesn't do it all of the time and of course when I shut the radio off it stops.

Welcome to MF, sorry to hear about your problems.

The fuel pump is behind you and the coil wont make any noise when it goes bad.

Where is the noise located, which side of the engine, high or low, front or back, does the sound or pitch change with an increase of RPM's?

If you have a video, that would help too.

it is coming through the radio speakers and it does increase with rpms but it will quit and then won't do it for a long time.

uhhh.

Amperage problem with the alt maybe? Thats really odd if its a sound coming through the speakers that increases with the RPM's.

Only thing I can think of is maybe an amperage problem and a poorly grounded wire or somethinhg.

Electrical really isnt my thing though.

Have you tried google searching?

Your alternator is going bad. The diodes are failing.
