Default Driver's seat conversion to manual

The power driver's seat on my 97 is dead. I want to convert it to manual because A) I can't afford the power tracks and B) with me being 6'4" and My wife being 5'0" I would only burn through another one anyway.

I have had some indication that the manual track from the passenger side can be used for either seat. Is this true?

Yes it will fit but there are left/right side racks because of the location of the handles. But it will fit.

There is also a manual driver's side seat track pair. I had it in my 97 coupe.

Yes, works fine. I just got done doing this to save some weight. Take a look at this page about half way down.
