Default 65mm throttle body

I have a 01 v6 mustang with CAI. Does anyone know anything about the BBK 65mm throttle body? Is it worth it? Any gains? Any fabrication?

No gains will be had on an un-ported intake without forced induction.

No need for that then, lol, much appreciated. Just looking for other ways to mod before I do f.I.

Re gear the rear end, tuner if auto, full exhaust, better brakes/suspension.

What gear ratio would be good? And yes, its an auto, what's the best tuner available for the v6 mustangs?

General advice is usually 3.73 for manual and 4.10 for auto. Since you have an auto a tuner will be required as the gears will mess with the Speedo calibration and the trans decides when to shift partly based on speed. The tuner will correct this. And most people it seems get the sct tuners, but they seem to be the best deal from America muscle.com since you can get free tunes for life from then when you purchase a new tuner.

as said the TB will be useless on a mostly stock car, I have allways started with letting a car breathe and a way to tune it, so an intake, exhaust, with your choice of mid pipe and catback, long tubes are also a good add but unless your stock manifolds are cracked or you are going to go big power they are not needed, SCT tuner from VMP tuning is pretty much the only way to go for a canned tune. the tuner is needed to correct for the gears so I would make sure you have that before you do the gears.

Don't forget you will also need either an eaton or Detroit true trac Limited slip as well as a bering kit for the rear end when you do gears
