Default burned spot underneath car pedals

So for starters i own a 1999 v6 and recently ive been hearing that what sounds like a cracked cat or maybe a bad muffler but my car doesn't accerelate at all. It'll take time before the car gains speed. So today my car starting smoking from underneath my pedals. The smoke was coming from underneath the carpet as guess you can say and when I pulled back the carpet it was completely burned. Has anyone ever heard of something this? Could my catalytic converter or something burn right through the bottom of the car? Is that even possible? Please help me out here! I'm cometely puzzled as to what could have cause that much burn damage.

You have a hole in your exhaust and it is pointed at your floorboard. it should be obvious if you crawl underneath.

Im not sure where the cats are located since I dont have any but with the loss of power it could be a clogged cat and cats get red hot. If its there near that area it could do that.
