Ok first time poster here,... but no stranger to forums by any means!

We've got an 02 3.8 Auto Mustang that has the following mods:

AM CAI, BBK Throttle Body, Dynomax Cat Back exhaust, and 17" Staggered Cobra wheels/tires

So we've saved up right at 400.00 and my son is leaning towards a tune (BAMA) ... which I think will help bring things together for sure,.. but the old school racer in me knows that with the approximately 2" taller wheel/tire combo and the 3:27 (?) gears and Auto trans, ... well a Trac Lok w/4:10's will for sure bring out some "Seat of the Pants" power....

The car is not a daily driver (yet) .. he's 14 now and we've just been driving it around town mostly,.. so Milage isn't really a concern at this point.

You need the Tuner to correct the speedo on 99-04 cars so I would probably start with that first.

Well I was still on the fence, but after re-reading the approximate 28 reviews on the Bama Tuner from folks that basically the same set up as me, ... I ended up biting the bullet and purchasing the Tuner. In waiting mode now,.. but it should be here soon.
