have you been pulled over lately?

I finally got pulled over again, but I was in my old F250, doing the speed limit. A city cop got on my *** on the interstate, and was waaaaaay too close, so I brake-checked her, twice. She pulled me over and I got to chew her *** for following too closely. I didn't get a ticket of course, but it waas the first time I was hoping to get one. I was on the the way to my State Trooper father-in-law's house who loves to get on people's *** for being pathetic at life, especially ****ty cops.
I haven't driven the poor stang in about 2 months now washed it the other day though.

Here's my getting pulled over stories: I've got 3...
1) Was driving down in southern VA near the VA/NC border in a 1997 Escort. It was a very hilly area and nobody was around. I felt like I was going pretty fast- looked down and the speedo was at 110. I hit the brake and started slowing...then I noticed the lights in the rearview. Pull over, shut off the car and all that good stuff. Cop says "I pulled you over for speeding. Do you know how fast you were going?". My reply "I'm sorry. I realized I was gaining speed and was going a little too fast, so I started slowing down". Him: "I caught you doing 84 in a 65." Writes me the ticket for it- wreckless driving! I mailed in the ticket and payment...points never showed up and theres never been a trace of it on my license.
2) PG County, MD, where the cops are tool bags- Around 2 am middle of the week...same Ford Escort. I'm doing about 60 in a 55 on rte 50 west. I was living in DC at the time. Cop pulls me over and asks what I'm doing out that time of night (keep in mind I was like 28 at the time). I'm like "going home". Asked from where, so I said "my girlfriend's house". He then proceeded to ask what I was doing over there so late, to which I told him "honestly, sir, that's pretty personal and information that I don't need to share", which he gave me a look that I didn't particularly like, so I told him "if you must know, we've been having sex for the last few hours and I'm heading home so I can get some sleep to go to work". More questions- where does she live, how often I go over there. All of which I found to be highly inappropriate. After 30 minutes of this harassment, he then goes to his car, runs tags, license, etc. Comes back clean and lets me go with a warning... all of which has now taken an hour.
3) Last fall, around 11pm I left Mason District Park in Annandale after a soccer match. I'm taking my time driving and get the blue lights in the rear view. My immediate thought was "what did I do!?!". So I pull over, shut off the car, etc. Female cop comes up to the window - very politely I must say. Asked if I knew why she pulled me over. I told her that honestly I had no idea. She told me that back on Columbia Pike (about a mile back) I was over the speed limit...I told her that I had seen the sign saying 40 and set the cruise control...and she agreed that I had been doing 40. She then told me that at one point (and I didnt notice the sign) it drops quickly to 25. So I apologized. She asked me where I was coming from and I told her "my last soccer match of the season". She asked if we won and I told her that disappointingly we didn't. She ran my tags and license and said that I had a great driving record and she's not used to seeing that on cars she's pulled over... she let me go with a warning. She was totally awesome (and pretty hot, I must say).

I got pulled over for speeding on the hiway this weekend.
78 in a 60
I thought I was doing 76 in a 70 but they changed the speed due to construction ahead and about 3/4 mile up its 70mph and 1/4 mile back it was 70mph. The limit changes several times in a 10 mile stretch of hiway. It goes, 70 - 65 - 60 - 45 - 70 - 65 - 45 - 60
It was a weekend night so there was no crew so the 45mph is suppose to be lifted.
My only ticket in years.
$137.50
I was the lead on a long string of cars doing 75-80 and he picked me as the lead to take as he was sitting behind a pilon on his Harley.
He was cool though, no complaints here.
I can probably get out of it being the lead car and going with the flow of traffic in a congested 2 lane stretch of road and that I dont have any points/tickets on my record.
So thats my very rare "Pulled over" story.
