Default mustang v6 stiff/hard clutch

well ive been driving my first car for about 1 year. and ever since i got this car, the clutch is very heavy and stiff. ive tried other ppls cars and their all lighter than mine. my car feels lik if someone is trying to prevent u to push in the clutch lol. i dont really mind it. i actually lik it so no one can drive it.

but i was wondering could it be any other clutch? could this be oem?
is this a bad thing?

thanks

When you say other people's cars, do you mean other 4.0 Mustangs or someones old Hyundai? The Mustang's clutch has more resistance on the stock clutch pedal than on a lot of other cars I have driven.
If the clutch isn't slipping, grinding, clunking, smoking or squealing I wouldn't worry about it.

did you buy it used? might need a new clutch.. I bought my 06 with 6900 miles on it and I was under the assumption it was basically brand new. i was wrong. I just put a new clutch and flywheel in it at 20k miles.. and it sure as hell wasnt me destroying the clutch..

It's much lighter now with a brand new clutch so this may be your issue.

had the same problem in our 06, clutch and pressure plate were replaced under warranty.

this is normal, the clutch requires some leg muscle to push in compared to some other cars.
