Just get one of these.

They bolt right in. Nothing else needed. I did mine in my driveway by myself.

the V6 engine is a nice little stout assembly. But I've read that boring it out makes the cylinder walls too thin, due to the water jackets.
After running a blower on my V6 for 2 years with a V6, it held up nicely.
Think about your goals and plans for the car, what you want, etc. Swapping in a V8 can cost less than building a V6, depending in what you find for what price and if you can do a lot of the work yourself. But, it's not an easy task; lots to it.
Slap a blower on the stock engine and you're good to go!
