Question for my friend
Hey guys,
So my friend has a 2013 Mustang V6 and he really doesn't like the fact that he only gets power to one wheel and was looking into buying a lsd for his car. We were on american muscle and I noticed that the lsd's are 31 spline and for 8.8 rear ends. That's the same as the older gt's , so would a lsd from the older cars fit into his?
Thanks!

The 2013 already has the 8.8" rear end, 31 spline axle, with tlok. It was the 2005-10 4.0 V6 that had the 7.5" with 28 spline axles and open differential.
If he truly is only getting power to one wheel, then something is wrong with the rear end. Likely he assumed he didn't have the 8.8 though.

Oh okay, someone had told him it had an open diff and he's super paranoid about it. I have no idea so I thought it would be good to consult the authorities on it
Cool I'll pass the news on to him!
thanks!
