Default Bay Area: Dyno Tune?

I'm wondering what a typical price is and the best place to go for a dyno tune for my 07 mustang GT? All I have is a K&N intake and have heard about the SCT tuners but would those yield any gains? Would a dyno tune be more useful? Should I save money for something else?

Thanks!

Honestly man with just a CAI your not going to gain much, I would wait till you get a few more mods on the car before getting it tuned. Maybe look into gears, delete plates, pulleys.

You should check out ca-mustangs.com we have some of the top NorCal tuners as vendors over there.

I've heard that x-pipe's add a couple of horsepower, but for the price I was turned off ($280 installed) so is the stock Hpipe fine? I love the sound of the stock exhaust anyways and read the xpipe makes it more "tinny" sounding. is this all true?

The stock H pipe from Factory is actually one of the best H pipe Ford has ever put on a stang, the Cats might be big but they are decently high flowing. As far as H vs X its all about sound combo with your exhaust combo, you can go to www.mustangexhuast.com and listed to some sound clips or even youtube or streetfire.net

You can go to Steedas web site and find the delete plates, if you get them, get the economy ones, they both produce the same power, ones just stock and the other is billet.

thanks. so I want this one?
http://www.steeda.com/products/steed...ion_plates.php
Where do I install these? Is it a hard job? Does it void manufacturer warranty? How much hp and performance do these add?

As for the pulleys, which ones, how much do they run, and how much will it affect performance?

I drive on the highway so I was wondering which gears I should look into. Which would not be detrimental to my gas mileage?

Thanks.
