Will 2001 16" stock rims clear FRONT calipers on my 2009 V6?
After searching all day... I gather the offset is about 3/8" (that's all it looks like from pics) and they'll stick out further, nearly flush, but any mention of clearing calipers is either:
A - clears rear yeah, guys drag racing.
B - 16's won't clear calipers with 13" GT rotors. 17's barely do.
C - no indication if 16's clear calipers on the V6's 11.5" rotors...
$400 for a set of 225-60 studded tires on stock 16's and I think they'll fit but hope someone can say first hand and save me the travel and trial fit to see for myself.
The 17's on it now have about 3/4" clearance, maybe 7/8" so I'd think there'd be 1/4 - 3/8" still if you dropped an inch and the inside rim design was very similar, just smaller.
Thanks in advance
