are you talking about the front wheels sticking out farther than the rears?

if so, mine looked like that too when i got my wheels. i put 1in spacers in the back and it made it look alot better.

just so you know, if you go with 1in spacers in the back, depending on your backspacing, you might have to roll the fender lip (i did).

You go anything more than 1/4", you should replace your studs with longer and stronger ones, IMO. I have 1/2" spacer and have done just that.

As for 88Mach1, you MUST have installed new lug bolts to go 1" and BTW, when you goin' 10's on that baby

haha! i don't think i am. i like the wheels i have now, and they don't make them in 10in, only 10.5in.

nope.

did you do a 5 lug conversion on your car? (can't tell from your pic)

if you did, and used parts from a 96 or newer Mustang, that would make your front wheels stick out farther than they did stock.

just wondering.

Sorry Mach881, but I would NOT use those type of spacers

Correct me if I am wrong, but you would need to cut the stock bolts so they would not hit the back of the wheels as they must be over 1" long. Mine were about 1.5" long and the last 3/8" was un-threaded starter portion. You also have added strain on the stock lugs along with possiblity of lugs getting loose "behind" the wheel.

It is greater expense, but MUCH better to remove the stock studs and install upgraded longer ones. The Moroso studs I am using on my rear wheels (only ones with spacers, 1/2") are many times stronger than stock. I also had the advantage of a full 1" of threads into the lug-nuts for extra security.

To do this correctly, you may need to remove the axles and have them pressed in. I was able to avoid it, but was a PITA

yeah i know, i don't use them anymore. they were just a temporary solution until i could afford some wider tires.

oh and no i didn't have to cut the stock bolts. my wheels have a recessed area between the bolt holes that the excess bolts fit into.
