2,500 HP Mustang Dominates King of the Streets XII
King of the Streets is a wild series of drag races that sees competitors show up, drop cash, and race their tires off with no prep or testing.
The video below tracks a Mustang dubbed “The Fugitive” making its way through the King of the Streets, eventually vying for the $10,000 grand prize. Under the hood of this pretty normal looking drag Mustang sits a 540 cubic inch engine that is force fed air by a pair of 88mm turbos. The result is 2,500 horsepower.
Enjoy all that horsepower in all its glory as “The Fugutive” tears through the field of 19 competitors to ultimate victory. There is a ton of angry noise, tech details about the build, and of course plenty of lighting fast runs. One by one, every car that lines up against this flat-black menace falls in spectacular fashion.
This thing may have dominated King of the Streets XII, but you can bet that there will be lots of new driver’s aiming to beat it next year. Drivers beware though, the team behind “The Fugutive” was only running 20 pounds on boost, so there is a lot more to be gained.
